Though tied up at halftime, the Blackhawk boys got by their tightest contest to-date with a four-point win over Bridgewater-Emery, 55-51, last Tuesday in Emery.
Brady Tiede led with a double-double, including 20 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. Dillon Moore provided a well-rounded performance with 11 points, six boards, three assists, five steals and a block for good measure.
Josh Feiner helped out with seven points and Wyatt Feistner, six. Tucker Kingsbury also gathered four steals.
SCW shot 23-of-54 from the floor for 43 percent and six-of-13 from the line. The Hawks won the rebounding battle, 41-34, and committed 20 turnovers.
The Huskies went 18-of-53 from the floor for 34 percent and nine-of-16 from the charity stripe for 56 percent. B-E committed 22 turnovers.
Sawyer Schultz led the Huskies with 21 points.
Bridgewater-Emery won the JV game, 53-38.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket remains undefeated so far this season, five games in. B-E is just 2-4. The Hawks next travel to Kimball for a Tuesday night doubleheader.
