The Town ‘N Kountry Kids Red Crew 4-H Club met this past week to present illustrated talks and demonstrations. By giving presentations, 4-H members have the opportunity to tell others what they have learned, a very important part of the 4-H experience. Each time a 4-H member presents, he learns to speak more easily before groups. Ideas are relayed readily because the 4-H member has learned how to organize a successful presentation. Confidence in speaking in front of others grows with each presentation.
Riley Schmiedt presented a talk with his dog, Hank, about the blue-heeler breed. Wyatt Feistner told about donating blood for the local blood drive. Kaitlyn Swenson demonstrated how to make a nightlight lamp from a mason jar. Dilyn Brooks gave a presentation on how to make a repurposed window frame for hanging special items. Brooklyn Swenson told about how she created her saxophone lamp. Evan Ohlrogge explained how he designed a lamp from car parts. Elisha Schultz demonstrated how to make sticky rice. Kaylee White gave a demonstration on how to make a Kleenex holder from a Mason jar.
