Notice is given that on September 21, 2023, Tony Meyer, whose address is 40075 229th Street, Woonsocket, South Dakota 57385, and Jason Meyer, whose address is 424 West 1st Avenue, Artesian, South Dakota 57314, were appointed as Co-Personal Representatives of the Estate of Carole Podhradsky.

Creditors of decedent must file their claims within four months after the date of the first publication of this notice or their claims may be barred.

Claims may be filed with the Co-Personal Representatives or may be filed with the Clerk, and a copy of the claim mailed to the Co-Personal Representatives.

Mark Chada called the meeting to order with Angie Larson, Sean Gromer, and Angie Meier in attendance.  

A motion was made by Larson, seconded by Gromer, carried, to approve the August 21st, 2023, minutes as read.

A motion was made by Gromer, seconded by Larson, carried, to approve the financials as presented.

Old Business:

Discussion was held on information needing to be sent into the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Meier sent an updated sample site plan in and received an e-mail back that all looked good. There are no issues at this time. If she sees any issues, she will let Meier know. 

The Board received one application for the meter reader ad placed in the paper. A motion was made by Larson, seconded by Gromer, carried, to approve to hire Tori Hoffman for the Meter Reader Position at a wage of $100.00 per time.  

Discussion was held on the tractor the Board rents in the winter for snow removal. Gromer talked to C&B Operations, and the tractor is already in and can be picked up the first of October.

New Business:

Discussions were held on a couple of nuisances in the town. The Board is going to send letters to attend to the issues.

Discussions were held on a couple of nuisances in the town. The Board is going to send letters to attend to the issues.

New Business:

Discussion was held on Rossy Park signs being done. The signs are at the office, and Gromer will get them installed.  

Discussion was held on street signs that are starting to peel. Extra signs have been located, and Gromer and Meier will work on getting the ones that need to be replaced taken care of.  

G. and D. Moody attended the meeting to discuss a few things with the board. Discussed first was ways to try and smooth out the trail around the lake. They were wondering about a box scraper. Gromer is going to look at trying to take a disk out there and try to work on smoothing it with the disk or with the box scraper.  

Also, they discussed about the entrance to the tree pile. They were wondering about the holes and if it is possible to try to fix, possibly, with gravel and smooth them out.  Gromer was going to try and work on smoothing them out.  

A motion was made by Larson, seconded by Gromer, carried, to approve the following claims for payment:
