Payments: CRP payments should be issued the first week of October. DCP/ACRE payments should be issued the second week of October.
Fall Acreage Reporting: As reported in this space two weeks ago… Beginning this fall FSA requires fall acreage reports for acres and intended use of all fall seeded and perennial crops including but not limited to: grass, alfalfa, alfalfa/grass mixes, CRP, GRP, and winter wheat while assuming normal weather patterns. If the crop is insurable, report the same to your crop insurance agent. The fall acreage reporting deadline is Nov. 15.
Office Closed: Monday Oct. 8 for Columbus Day.
