Pictured here are the children surrounded by an “altar” they created with the many food and paper supplies that were donated for the Sanborn County Food Pantry on Sunday, Sept. 9. A large crowd attended, generously donating items and enjoying pie and ice cream following the services.
The children enjoyed filling balloons and releasing them over Lake Prior into a beautiful blue sky. It was a calm day so they could watch their balloons gently float up and off into space.  Each child is hopeful that whoever finds their balloon will respond with a letter.
