Santa visits Letcher for Christmas open house

Vendor fair offers local Christmas shopping opportunity

Iris Mae Ackman, daughter of Jennifer Kleinsasser and Paul Ackman, Ethan, made sure Santa and Mrs. Claus knew exactly what she wanted under her tree.    The “Santa’s Last Stop” vendor fair and holiday open house was held Saturday in the Letcher Community Center and Fire Hall.

Santa and Mrs. Claus  visited for two hours in the morning taking down Christmas wishes from the local children. A number of vendors showed of their wares, while goodies like donut holes and Indian tacos were cooked up to eat.
Some of the vendors included, Pampered Chef (above), Scentsy, 31, Avon and others, along with some other unique handcrafted items, all great Christmas gifts. 4-Hers were on hand for a couple hours to help children Christmas shop for their parents.
