Sonnie Dean Schimke, son of Christina Stainbrook and Layton Schimke, of Wessington Springs was baptized in the UCC Templeton Church on Jan. 13 in rural Wessington Springs.
Sponsors were Loriann Schimke of Mitchell, Nick Larson of Canistota and David Deurmier of Eureka. Pastor Sara Dean officiated.
A dinner was held in the Prairie Lounge at Wessington Springs following the church services for several family members and friends.
