March Interest Rates for FLP Loans: Farm Ownership  3.25 percent, Down Payment  1.5 percent, and Farm Operating 1.25 percent.
March Interest Rates for FSFL Loans: 1.375 to 2.25 percent.
Free NRCS Workshop – Basic Prescribed/Controlled Burn Training: Interested persons from Jerauld and Sanborn counties might consider attending March 28 in Room 300 of the Federal Building located at 200 W. 4th St. SW, Huron.  Pre-register by calling (605) 882-5140. Sign-in at 8:30 a.m.  Training starts at 9 a.m. and will run to 5 p.m.
This training should be useful to those interested in many controlled burn situations including, CRP mid-contract management prescribed burning, burn rules for other conservation programs, general fire planning and preparation.  Get expert advice on YOUR burn projects – bring your maps along and talk about your burn site.
