The Letcher Community Church held Vacation Bible School Aug. 11-15 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. The Storla churches assisted with the event.
The week started off with a family picnic on Sunday evening. The theme of the week was introduced and enhanced during the following sessions.
The theme was “Everywhere Fun Fair:  Where God’s World Comes Together.”  The children learned that God’s love welcomes everyone, as they understand how to love and serve God by being a good neighbor.
Each evening the program included supper,  Bible bazaar, recreation, discovery, music, snacks and worship. An offering was taken each evening and donated to local and world mission work. Approximately 60 youth, 12 teenagers and 12 adults attended nightly.  The week closed with a program on Thursday evening.
