Troy Schaefer, whose son, Steven, is a candidate for this year’s Mr. Basketball, shared the award with Luther Hippe in 1983.
The luncheon is open to the public with tickets priced at $25 if RSVP’d in advance by e-mail to Tasha Lange at tlange@ncppub.com or toll free at 1-800-621-0801, or for $30 at the door the day of the event. Doors will open at noon for lunch with the awards presentation beginning at about 1 p.m.
