The Woonsocket senior class made a trip out to Pierre last Tuesday to observe the South Dakota Legislature.
Lunch was first on their itinerary with a trip to Pizza Ranch, courtesy of the Woonsocket American Legion.  The class attended the Democratic caucus and then observed both the House and Senate sessions.
Representative Scott Parsley introduced the class to both the caucus and the House.  Senator Chuck Jones introduced the students to the Senate.
The senior class is pictured here with the Mount Rushmore mascots, who were part of “Arts Day” at the Capitol.
