St. Wilfrid Catholic Church had a wonderful turnout for their pancake/sausage breakfast held this past weekend in their continuing fundraising efforts for the church basement renovation.
The breakfast brought in over $1,300 bringing the total raised to over $190,000. Total expenses to date on the basement renovation equals $410,000, with another estimated $75,000 needed for the next major step of the process, the kitchen renovation.
Prints of St. Wilfrid Church from the John Green painting continue to be available, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the basement.
The quilt made and donated by the Woonsocket Quilting for Others group for a free drawing at the breakfast for all visiting hunters was won by Gerry Bollinger (grandson of G.E. Bollinger) from Indianapolis, Ind.
