A soup and sandwich supper and silent auction fundraiser was held Sunday night, sponsored by the Community Theatre Project Committee to help raise funds for an addition to the Woonsocket Community Center.
The addition, which will go on the north side of the current facility, will include a theatre stage that will be used for community theatre productions, the school drama club and other events. Sunday’s fundraiser brought in $6,600 to go towards the project.
