Bau and Larson plead not guilty, Dorris hearing date set

Russell Bau, Jr., 20, of Huron pleaded not guilty in Sanborn County Court, Tuesday, to charges that he and Blake Dorris broke into two Woonsocket businesses and a resident’s garage on Aug. 17.
The pair allegedly stole some money and goods from MT Corner and fled after setting off an alarm at Skeeter’s N40.
Dorris, 20, also of Huron did not enter a plea and is scheduled to appear Nov. 8 for a preliminary hearing.
Bau is currently being held in the Beadle County Jail. Dorris was released on a $2,500 bond. Bau is scheduled for his next court appearance in November.
Also in Sanborn County Court Tuesday, Kyle Larson, 19, of Mitchell pled not guilty to charges of raping a minor. The incident allegedly occurred at a party on July 30.
Larson was charged with second and third degree rape and released on a $10,000 bond.
His next court appearance is scheduled for November.
