Six Blackhawks competed at the State High School Track Meet over the weekend at Howard Wood Stadium in Sioux Falls.
Rex Schlicht, Spens Schlicht, Trey Weber, Jared Goldammer, Logun Feistner and Wyatt Feistner represented the Blackhawks at the state event. Myah Selland had also qualified for State, but was unable to participate due to an injury.
As a team, the Blackhawk boys finished in 12th place with 22 total points.
The 3200M Relay team of R. Schlicht, S. Schlicht, Weber and Goldammer finished in eighth place with a time of 8:47.81.
R. Schlicht took home two second place medals and one fourth place medal for his final high school meet. He came in second in the 300M Hurdles prelims with a time of 40.78, second in in the 1600M Run with a time of 4:38.27, and fourth in the 800M Run with a time of 2:00.69.
L. Feistner came in 14th in the 100M Dash prelims with a time of 11.79 seconds and he also competed in the 200M Dash.
W. Feistner competed in the Long Jump at the State Meet.
