The eighth grade students at Sanborn Central received the Family/Friend CPR training on Monday, May 16. Trainers included Marla Feistner and Kathy Wingert.
Ten students received the training, which included heimlich maneuver, baby/child/adult CPR and AED training. The students are not completely certified, but gained valuable practicing of the basics and awareness of this important life skill.
The training is sponsored and funded by the Sanborn County Commissioners.
