The Sanborn County Conservation District held their local speech contest on Mar. 7 at 1 p.m. at the USDA Service Center in Woonsocket. Three contestants participated, all from Sanborn Central High School.
Pictured at left are the students who took part: Weston Baysinger, Catherine Bechen and Sarah Morgan. Baysinger and Bechen advanced on to the area speech contest, which was held on April 7 at the Huron Service Center.
