The Artesian First Lutheran Quilters met at the church on Wednesday, April 6 for an evening of fun, fellowship and learning.
Judi Larson and Terry Moore shared information with the group about the Plus One Guidance Center in Huron. This center provides help for pregnancy counseling, prenatal parenting education and assistance referrals.
The young quilters plan to give their baby quilts to the group. It is planned to purchase other baby items to help out moms in need. Ayla and Destiny Moe and Kara Wormstadt decorated pillowcases to serve as bags for baby items for the Plus One Project.
Judy Wormstadt showed her Civil War quilt for show and tell.
Six regular size quilts and one baby quilt were tied.
Other quilters present were: Gwen Effling, Terry Moore, Jerolyn Dean, Judi Larson and Judy Wormstadt.
