The Letcher American Legion is proud to announce the election of a new commander for the Tormey-Stach Post #93. Darwin (Butch) Morrison will take over the command of the post from retiring commander Ron Ruml.
Ruml has been commander for the past four years and was Sanborn County Legion Commander for 2016.
Morrison has been an active Legion member and is a veteran, having served in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. He is also on the Central Electric board, the SDAC (SD Association of Coops, a state board where he represents Central Electric) and is on the church council and an active member of his local church. He will be a good representative for the Letcher American Legion.
