On Wednesday, May 18, the last day of school, the WEPC held their annual walkathon for all students in pre-K through sixth grade of the Woonsocket Elementary.
This is the final fundraiser for the year and is a fun way for the WEPC to promote healthy choices throughout the summer while kids are more independent and responsible for their own resources.
This year’s theme was “Splash into Summer with H2O.” The WEPC focused on promoting the importance of staying hydrated during the hot summer.  This year’s business sponsors were Rustic Razor, Brooks Construction, Sandcreek Animal Clinic, Todd O. Brueske Construction, Moody Haygrinding and JoLynn’s Daycare.
