Thank you to all the ladies who went to the school and helped celebrate American Education Week by reading to the elementary classes. The kids love that small act of kindness and support, and the teachers love it, too. If you ever feel like volunteering to do that for the kids, it is something that they will all appreciate any time of the year, and it is encouraged by the whole school district! Some of the other activities had to be cancelled due to scheduling conflicts because the volleyball team played in the state tournament again this year.  Great things are going on at the school at all levels and in all activities!
The WEPC is planning a cute gift to be made by each student again this year for its annual Merry Mixing Day in December. WEPC is also raising funds with a Krispy Kreme donut and coffee fundraiser.Delivery will take place on the day of the Christmas concert to make it convenient for the families. If you would like to order Krispy Kreme donuts or coffee, please contact an elementary student or WEPC member. They are easy to freeze and serve during Christmas!
Finally, the WEPC is starting to plan for their favorite event of the year, the Family Bingo/Silent Auction Night! If you are willing to provide a bingo prize or silent auction item, please contact a WEPC member. Even if you cannot provide a prize or gift, please plan to attend this fun and exciting event this year to support the organization and all the things they provide to the school and the students. This event gets bigger and better every year!
The next meeting is Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the commons area at 6 p.m. They would love to see you there, even if you are just interested to find out what is being planned or how they plan for things. The WEPC hopes all families, in our school district and beyond have a heart-warming and beautiful holiday season!
