The Letcher Legion Auxiliary met Tuesday, May 9, at 7 p.m. President Ruml called the meeting to order. Amy Howard read an opening prayer. Roll call was answered by five members and one guest.
April’s meeting minutes and treasurer’s report were read by Treasurer Kathy Northrup.
Old business: End of the year reports were completed and sent in by President Ruml.
New business: President Ruml will submit the unit officers election forms.  She will also pay the poppy poster winners.
May 17 at noon, members will meet at the Letcher Community Center to update or re-make the poppy wreaths for display at the cemetery for Memorial Day.
Ellie Evan was drawn for Miss Poppy, and Aurelia White was drawn as her alternate for the Memorial Day service to be held on Monday, May 29, at 10 a.m. at the Letcher Community Center. Everyone is welcome.
Legion State Convention will be held in Watertown, June 15-18. Member Edith Moe will present the elected delegates while present.
July 18 will be the annual Talent Night and Pie Social. Mark your calendars.
The next meeting will be Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Letcher Community Center.
