Local students to compete at world’s largest junior high rodeo

TEYA MOODY Mason Moody will compete the NJHFR in Lebanon, Tenn., June 18-24.

Mason Moody and Teya Moody, seventh grade students at Sanborn Central School, have earned positions on the South Dakota State National Junior High rodeo team and will be traveling with fellow teammates to Lebanon, Tenn., June 18-24 to compete at the 13th Annual National Junior High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR).
Mason won the bareback competition, and Teya ended up fourth in the barrels competition. Additionally, Mason and Teya both took third place in ribbon roping.
