In an effort to help beautify Lake Prior, the Woonsocket Community Club commissioned Woonsocket resident, Steven Fink, to create an artistic nature sculpture for the flowerbed on the southwest corner of the lake.
The project was made possible with a memorial from the family of Della Larson. The City of Woonsocket provided the cement base and installation. The sculpture is incorporated into the Darin Zoss memorial area.
Artist Steve Fink is shown with his metal sculpture of ducks flying out of cattails after it wasinstalled by community volunteers.
