Veterans are thanked for their service by the third grade class.

Sanborn Central held a program to celebrate Veterans Day on Thursday morning, Nov. 9.
Mr. Siemsen read the welcome, and a video was played of students talking about what Veterans Day meant to them. An elementary class sang a song, and the band also played two numbers.
In addition, Sarah Morgan read poetry pieces, Trent Kingsbury gave a speech and Katie Schmit performed a reading she used for oral interp. Veterans also were thanked with handmade cards from the elementary.
