Selland leads thrilling overtime win over defending Nebraska champs

The “Myah Show” was playing in the Corn Palace Saturday night as the Blackhawk girls staged a thrilling comeback to beat highly esteemed Crofton, Neb., 72-66, in overtime.
This is the second loss to a South Dakota team for the five-time defending Nebraska Class C2 Champions, Crofton.
Crofton, coached by Alpena native Aaron Losing, suffered its only other loss to Sioux Falls Washington, 59-51, on Dec. 29.
The Blackhawks improved to 9-0 and gained some well-earned attention with the win. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket is currently rated No. 2.
