American Legion Auxiliary Unit 29 members met on Oct. 29, at 2 p.m., in the Woonsocket Community Center with District 6 President Linda Holmes and District Treasurer Ellen Speck of Gann Valley. President Linda Holmes presented the yearly agenda and distributed forms that report the unit activities to be returned to her.
Plans were made for the Veterans Day supper on Nov. 11. Veterans and school personnel were invited to the supper, as well as Auxiliary members. Bingo games were played at 7 p.m. after the supper.
Coupons have been sent to the commissaries in Germany and Korea for military families.
The next meeting will be Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the solarium of Prairie View Apartments.
Cookies are to be furnished for the PVHC Bingo on Dec. 14, by Fran Peterson and Paula Linke.
