On Tuesday, April 10, at around 11:41 p.m., the Country Pumper on Highway 34 between Forestburg and Artesian was broken into by two people using a tire iron and destroying a double-paned window on the east side of the building. They had tried to pry open the back door initially, but couldn’t get in that way.

The intruders stole some merchandise, but the total cost of the burglary has not been determined, yet.
