A short business meeting was held. Plans were made to go to Mitchell on Tuesday, June 12. The gals will have lunch at Pizza Ranch and then tour the Abbott House and learn about the good work they do to help young girls.
Cash donations to purchase diapers are being taken for Pastor Josh and Marti’s new baby girl. If you want to purchase diapers, the preferred type is Pampers Swaddlers. There is a basket at the church for the donations.
The gals are watching for rummage sales where baby items can be purchased to donate to the Plus One Project in Huron.
There may be additional Thrivent Action money available and possible projects were discussed.
Bible study based on Proverbs 15:25 was led by Judy Wormstadt. Following the Lord’s Prayer and singing the table blessing, Judi Larson served a delicious lunch.
The remainder of the evening was spent tying quilts, pinning the edges and working on the more intricate quilt for the upcoming Lutheran Outdoors Quilt Auction to be held in August.
