Erica Howard goes up for two in the varsity game against Mitchell Christian on Thursday night.

On Monday, Feb. 12, the girls’ basketball team hosted the James Valley Christian Vikings in the Woonsocket gym.

The junior high girls played first and won a good game with a final score of 29-14.

Then it was the junior varsity’s turn, and they kept the crowd on the edge of their seats until the end with a final score of 37-36, Blackhawks.

The varsity girls played the last game of the evening and ended the night with a victory. Final score of that game was Lady Blackhawks, 57, JVC Vikings, 35.

The last game of the Lady Blackhawks regular season schedule was held in Sanborn Central’s gym on Thursday night in a doubleheader with Mitchell Christian.

The Lady Blackhawks started off strong, and their momentum never died as they led the whole game and won with a final score of 53-31.
