SDES Eastern Chapter Scholarship Chair, Lance Mayer, presents a certificate to Nathan Linke at the Awards Banquet on Feb. 24.

Sioux Falls – The Eastern Chapter of the South Dakota Engineering Society presents $2,000 scholarships annually to graduating high school seniors in the eastern chapter district pursuing an engineering degree that plan to enroll at either South Dakota School of Mines and Technology or South Dakota State University in the fall of 2018.  The winners are selected based on academic achievement, leadership in their school and community and answers to questions on the application.

Nathan Linke of Woonsocket was among those who received the scholarship. He plans on attending South Dakota State University to study Mechanical Engineering.
