Sanborn County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman Ebersdorfer presiding. Other members present were: Ohlrogge, Blindauer, and P. Larson. Absent was S. Larson. Also present was Auditor Larson. Motion by Ohlrogge, seconded by Blindauer, to approve the minutes as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
HIGHWAY
Lee Goergen, Highway Superintendent/Weed Supervisor, and Sheri Kogel, Administrative Assistant, presented an amendment to the five- year plan. Motion by P. Larson, seconded by Blindauer, to adopt the following resolution:
Bridge Improvement Grant Program Resolution Authorizing Five-Year County Plan Amendments
WHEREAS, Sanborn County wishes to amend their previously approved Five-Year County Plan for the Bridge Improvement Grant Program:
Addition of Structure number 56-220-169 County Road 36 416th Avenue
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the South Dakota Department of Transportation be and hereby is requested to accept the Amended Five-Year County Highway and Bridge Improvement Plan, previously approved on 10-20-2017.

DITCH 21
Darren Swenson, Dan Swenson, Dale Swenson, and Mark Wilson from Santel met with the board to discuss Ditch 21.
Much discussion was held on the options to make the water flow better. Estimates for the costs of different options will be researched. This will be discussed at the July 3rd meeting.
MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
Motion by Blindauer, seconded by P. Larson, to accept a Customer Preventative Maintenance Agreement for the generator at a price of $498.00 per year. All ayes. Motion carried.
BUILDING INSURANCE
The board reviewed the insurance coverage on the buildings belonging to Sanborn County.
TRANSFER FUNDS
Motion by P. Larson, seconded by Blindauer, to transfer $678.00 from General Fund to the 24/7 Fund as allowed in the budget. All ayes. Motion carried.
