Woonsocket City Council proceedings

Minutes - December 3, 2018 - 7:00 P.M.

The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor, Richard Reider at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, with the following members present: Darin Kilcoin, Derek Foos, Garret Foos, Arin Boschee and Joel Rassel. Brandon Goergen was absent.

A motion by Rassel, seconded by Boschee, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

Motion by D. Foos, seconded by Kilcoin to approve the November 5, 2018, minutes. The motion carried.

A motion by G. Foos, seconded by D. Foos, to approve the Financial Statement. Motion carried.

Motion by Rassel, seconded by Boschee, to approve the following bills.

OLD BUSINESS

The City Council discussed getting the lift baskets for the lift stations. They have been ordered.

The City Council discussed the concrete crusher for the dumpgrounds. 

The City Council discussed streets.

NEW BUSINESS

The City Council discussed the liaison for the Fire District Board.

The City Council discussed the proposal from Kaden Schlekner to build a picnic shelter by the Baseball Field for his Eagle Scout Award. Motion by G. Foos, seconded by Kilcoin to approve the project. Motion carried.

The City Council discussed the current ordinance regarding parking on Highway 34.

Council discussed playground equipment for the baseball field.

The City Council discussed a Christmas Party.

Other items discussed were: removal of elk lot building, mason building and work list. 

With no further business to be discussed, motion by D. Foos, seconded by Rassel, to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
