The Town of Artesian Council met on February 6, 2019, in regular session at the Artesian Community Center. Council Member K. Effling called the meeting to order with Council Member C. Danek, Council Member Travis King and Finance Officer G. Effling present. Also present was Tom Fridley.
The minutes of the January 2, 2019, meeting were read; motion to approve by Danek, seconded by King; motion carried. Financial reports were read; motion to approve by Danek, seconded by King; motion carried. The following vouchers were presented for the month; motion to approve by Danek, seconded by King; motion carried:

Streets – discussion held on snow removal.
Sewer/Garbage – the board reviewed and discussed delinquent bills.
New Business: Discussion was held on the Planning and Development District III map. The South Dakota Municipal League Workers’ Compensation Fund Member Audit was discussed. Discussion was held on the Sanborn County Annual Meeting With Towns and Townships on February 19, 2019 – Council member Danek will attend if possible. Playground equipment was discussed. Discussion was held on the heat system at the city shed. Discussion was held on the garage doors at the city shed, and was tabled until the next meeting. Discussion was held on the bath house at the campground.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2019, (Monday) at the Artesian Community Center at 7:30 p.m.
There being no further business motion by King to adjourn, seconded by Danek, motion carried.
