On Friday night, the number one-ranked Winner Warriors came to Wessington Springs and soundly defeated the Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central Blackhawks by a score of 54-0.
Winner scored on their first two drives and then used a couple of Blackhawk turnovers to score quickly before the first quarter was over. The Blackhawk offense could not get any consistent drives put together and the defense had a hard time slowing down the Winner offense.
Camden Jost led the defense with five tackles. Aiden Wormstadt had a reception for 19 yards.
This coming Friday, the Blackhawks travel to Ft. Pierre to take on the Stanley County Buffaloes.
