A good crowd attended the farewell worship service for Pastor Rhonda Wellsandt-Zell at Spirit of Faith Lutheran-Methodist church on Sunday. 

Brian Feistner, council chairman, spoke afterward, thanking Pastor Rhonda for her 11 years of leadership, guidance, wisdom, and in the transition process from two church buildings into one church with a joint Lutheran-Methodist congregation. Pastor Rhonda was presented a quilt, which included several pictures of milestone events through the years. When the congregation sang “God Be With You Till We Meet Again,” the reality of her leaving left everyone a bit emotional. Food and fellowship were enjoyed following worship. 

Pastor Rhonda is leaving Spirit of Faith to answer the call to lead the Trinity Lutheran Church in Mitchell.
