Sanborn County 4-H was pleased to welcome and host Timber Kelly for a one-day goat tying clinic on Monday, June 7, at the 4-H Grounds in Forestburg. Sixteen youth were thrilled to be able to spend the day focusing on ground work foundations and confidence building for faster get-offs and quicker hands under the guidance of Timber and her helpers. 

Timber Kelly is one of the fastest goat tyers and tied at 6.3 at the Vegas Tuffest and was second overall. Other accomplishments for her include numerous NIRA Short Round Qualifications, 2017 NHSRA fifth place, 2017 IFYR Top 10, and she consistently ties in six second runs. Timber is a Wyoming native and is currently a senior at Tarleton State University.
