Buck and Abby Schiley, Rapid City, are the proud parents of a daughter, Maggie Jean, born Sept. 13, 2012. She weighed 8 pounds and is 19 1/2 inches long.
Grandparents are Bob Schiley, Lemmon, and Brad and Lynda Steichen. Great-grandfather is Leonard Steichen.

Layton Schimke and Christina Stainbrook of Wessington Springs are the parents of a son, Sonnie Dean, born Sept. 12 in Avera Queen of Peace Hospital at Mitchell. He weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and joins a brother, John.
