Letcher Auxiliary meets

By Mary Luckett, Secretary The Letcher Legion Auxiliary met at 8 p.m., Sept. 10, in the community center. The meeting was called to order by President Sandi Ruml. Other members present were Shirley Ruml, Edith Moe, Clara Wise, Pat Nelson and Mary Luckett. The opening prayer was read by Chaplin Pat Nelson and the Preamble was recited by all. Secretary Shirley Ruml read the minutes of the last meeting and gave the treasurer’s report. Both were approved as read. President Sandi Ruml read letters and other information received from District 6 President Theresa Maeschen. The fall district meeting will be in Wessington Springs on Sept. 28. If anyone would like to be an auxiliary member, they may do so if they have or had a father, brother, grandfather or great-grandfather who was in the military. For more information, please contact Sandi Ruml at 248-2568. The closing prayer was recited by Chaplain Pat Nelson. President Sandi Ruml adjourned the meeting. Hostess was also Sandi Ruml. Then next meeting will be Oct. 8. Sally Olson will be the hostess.
