The Sanborn County Ambulance Association is raising funds to buy a LUCAS chest compression system to improve the outcome when CPR is needed.
These devices give effective chest compressions to provide good blood flow to the vital organs thereby making for a better chance of a positive outcome. We have had several calls the last couple years that could have used the LUCAS device.
The cost of the LUCAS is $15,000. The County Commissioners have agreed to match any donations or memorials up to $7,500.
Donations can be dropped off at First National Bank South Daktoa in Woonsocket or mailed to FNBSD, P.O. Box 98, Woonsocket, SD 57385.
