In a high school football game at Wessington Springs on Friday night, Wolsey/Wessington ran past Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central, 40-0.
Roy Lumpkin made five touchdowns in 13 carries and rushed for 217 yards for W/W. Hayden Hooks grabbed 13 tackles and Alex Babcock secured 10 tackles.
The Blackhawks received 24 yards in three carries from Jarid Bechen. Todd Stekl had 7-of-17 through the air for 49 yards. Austin Mesmer hauled down 16 tackles, while Jacob Fouberg turned in 13.
Wolsey/Wessington, now 5-1 hosts Plankinton Friday at Wolsey. The Blackhawks fell to 2-5 and play Corsica/Stickney on Friday at Stickney.
