Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. Jean Vance, 55, of Mitchell was southbound on 408th Avenue near 243rd Street, swerved to miss a deer, lost control of her vehicle, entered the ditch and rolled over. There was approximately $8,250 damage to her 2003 Chrysler Concorde LX. Vance was cited for having no insurance.
On Sept. 3 at 6:43 a.m., Brady Andrews, 25, of Huron hit a deer on SD Highway 34, causing around $2,700 damage to the 2002 International 7400 truck, owned by Jeff Miller Construction, Inc. of Huron.
At 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 20, Jeff Miller, 48, of Huron hit a deer on 222nd Street and 396th Avenue. There was approximately $2,000 damage to Miller’s 2012 Cadillac Sierra K2500.
