Sanborn Central/Woonsocket narrowly defeated Mount Vernon/Plankinton in overtime, 58-55, in boys’ basketball action Saturday at Plankinton.
Nick Miller pumped in a game high 21 points for the Blackhawks. Davion Brooks delivered a baker’s dozen along with six boards. Todd Stekl added 10 points and six assists.
The Titans (3-3)  were paced by Deric Denning and Jared Long who each scored 20 points.
SC/W (6-0) went 20-of 54 from the field and 14-of-17 from the charity stripe to MV/P’s 17-of-45 from the field and 16-of-22 from the line.
