A Sanborn Central School bus carrying football players was hit by a car at the three-mile corner intersection Monday afternoon about 3:45 p.m.
The bus, driven by Corey Flatten, 30-year old coach and social studies teacher at Sanborn Central, was driving the bus westbound on Highway 34. The players and their coach were on their way to an end-of-season football meeting in Woonsocket.
