On Dec. 19, Robert VanWagner of Redfield ran into a deer with his 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix, causing $4,200 worth of damages to his vehicle.
The animals decided to mix things up on Dec. 20.  Instead of the usual deer, a cow rushed out in front of Bernadine Davis of Woonsocket, who received $7,200 worth of damages to her 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport from the resulting crash.
On Christmas Eve, Tammy Heath of Madison received a very unwelcome Christmas guest – a deer, who decided to pay her a visit while she was driving along the road. She was saddled with $2,350 worth of damages to her 2001 Toyota Camry.
Dec. 31, Jay Larson of Woonsocket had to bring in the New Year on a sour note after a deer stumbled into the road, Larson’s 2014 Ford Fusion taking $2,500 worth of damages.
On Jan. 3, Rhett Vanderwal of Volga had a run-in with a deer and received $1,500 worth of damages to his 2007 GMC Sierra.
