Woonsocket elementary students continue to work on the “Every Reader is a Star” program.
This is a progressive program with students earning Accelerated Reader points when they begin testing through sixth grade. Once a student has earned 50 points, they receive a certificate and their first seal. Many certificates decorate the library cabinet doors.
When a student reaches the 1,000 point level, they earn a school letter and take their certificate home. Aiden Lieber, a fourth grader, currently has 893 points and is nearing the completion of his certificate. Students may earn points towards a bar for their school letter once they complete the certificate.
