The Artesian First Lutheran Quilters met on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the church. It was a very productive evening with six quilts being tied and the edges pinned for finishing. The group wanted to get these quilts completed so they could be joined with the 20 others ready to be taken to Brookings on Oct. 9 to meet the truck that will take the quilts and all the completed kits to the LWR Warehouse in Minneapolis.
Those helping with the quilting were: Terry Moore, Wanda Effling, Pam Moore, Judi Larson, Jean Wormstadt, Deanna Dean and Judy Wormstadt.
The group prayed the Lord’s Prayer, shared devotions and had lunch.
