Riley Schmiedt has earned a third place rating in the state Class B wrestling polls this week, up from fourth place last week.
Schmiedt, a senior at Woonsocket, wrestles in the 285 lb. division with the Wessington Springs/Woonsocket Blackhawk team. He will be heading to the Region tournament Feb. 18 in Wagner. First match begins at 9 a.m.
Riley is the son of Adam and Jody Schmiedt of Woonsocket.
