The Lady Blackhawks volleyball team dug deep for some extra power to defeat Wolsey-Wessington, 3-2, in a 281 Conference match Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Set scores were 22-25, 25-21, 25-16, 22-25 and 19-17.
Tesa Jensen and Abby Doering led SCW with 18 and 17 kills, respectively. Doering also recorded five aces and two blocks, while Erica Howard contributed three aces.
Tristan Ziebart led the Lady Blackhawks with 35 assists and 19 digs.
For the Warbirds, Shayla Muilenburg had 20 perfect serves and 30 assists, while Chantel Haider was 19 of 19 serving.
With the win, SCW improved to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in the 281 Conference.
