WOONSOCKET – Things may look different around the Woonsocket Community Health Center in the next few weeks as Horizon Health Care, Inc. (Horizon) has announced plans to upgrade their current Electronic Health Record system. Horizon has partnered with eClinicalWorks as their new system vendor.
Horizon is excited to be moving forward with a new Electronic Health Record system that meets and exceeds the future of healthcare. eClinicalWorks offers many new features tied into a user-friendly experience, which includes a mobile phone application for patients to access their own medical records at their convenience. As Horizon grows to meet the needs of the community, they look forward to helping patients play an important role in managing their own health.
Horizon’s leadership team is expecting a smooth transition with eClinicalWorks, but also asks for patience during the transition while staff learns the new system. “We are extremely excited to be moving forward with a new Electronic Health Record system,” said Megan Leddy, CNP of Woonsocket Community Health Center. “The capabilities and user-friendly features of this system will be a great benefit to both our staff and patients.”
